this page for easy reference.
The Adobe® Acrobat® Reader™ is
a free program you can install on your computer that allows you
to view formatted
text and
graphic files over the Internet, or download them for later viewing.
Even if you have never downloaded anything, it is quite simple
to do.
Printing out this page before you go to the download site will
make it easy for you to follow the instructions. Step 1. Go to
the Acrobat™ download site.
(A new browser window will open.)
Scroll down the page until you see the link to download the free
reader and click on it.
Once you are there, you will be asked to answer a few questions
via a form. Once you fill out the form, click the "Download" button.
You will be prompted to select a directory on your hard drive to
place the file. Once you do this, the file will download to your
hard drive.
Step 2. Install the Reader.
You will have to close your Internet connection and all programs
that are open. On the PC through My
Computer (Win95/98), or from your desktop on a Mac, find the
file that you downloaded. Double-click on the file. This will
start
the install
process.
Step 3. Try the Reader.
Reconnect to the Internet and return to <http://www.CarnavalSantaFe.com/> ,
then return to the page where the PDF file you want to download
is located. If you click on the PDF link it will open in your
web browser;
you may also save the PDF document to your hard drive for later
viewing and printing out by right clicking and saving the link
to the PDF
as a file on your computer.
